Areas of Focus
Partners In Health Rwanda strengthens public health by delivering high-quality care for chronic and infectious diseases, improving child and maternal health, expanding mental health access, fighting malnutrition, and addressing poverty to ensure health for all.
Partners In Health Rwanda provides vital care for cancer, diabetes, and other non-communicable diseases in vulnerable communities and helps governments incorporate best practices into public health systems.

PIH Rwanda believes in constructed health facilities that serve as dignifying spaces that enhance sustained recovery. The Global Nurse Executive Fellowship, a weeklong Intensive in Rwanda, is the first in-person event of its kind, where 21 nurses and midwives, fellows and alumni of GNEF — across 7 PIH sites — workshop together, discuss the implementation of ongoing project, and exchange ideas.

Six newly constructed houses, built by Partners In Health for mental health beneficiaries, stand as a beacon of hope in the community. Designed with functionality and comfort in mind, these houses offer a safe and nurturing space for residents to rebuild their lives. The sturdy brick structure, and accompanying water tanks ensure durability and access to essential resources. Surrounded by greenery, these homes not only provide shelter but also foster well-being, recovery, and a renewed sense of dignity for the residents.
