Don King Agaba

Don King Agaba is the Legal Counsel for the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) and Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima (PIH/IMB), where he provides legal advice and supports the organizations in legal risk management, compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory matters. He joined UGHE and PIH/IMB in 2023.

Before this role, Don served as Head of Corporate Counsel and Company Secretary at Access Bank Rwanda and AB Bank Rwanda Plc. His professional experience spans banking law, project finance, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and corporate legal advisory.

Don holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from the University of Rwanda, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Diploma in Legal Practice (DLP). He also earned a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws at Liverpool John Moores University. His academic and professional interests include corporate governance, sustainability, and strengthening legal and compliance frameworks within mission-driven organizations.
